 Sol J. Polachek
Chairman of the Board

 Sol's career began in the 1960's in the construction industry. He served for over 20 years as CEO of Magil Construction Corporation, a leading, Montreal-based general contracting firm. Sol's diversification into real estate acquisition and property management in the 1980's led to the founding of Magil Laurentian, as the management arm of his family’s real estate investment company. Sol also serves as Chairman of the Weloga Foundation, which supports numerous education, health and welfare causes. Sol obtained a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from McGill University.

Gary E. Polachek
Chief Executive Officer

Gary has been with Magil Laurentian since its inception. Gary has over 20 years of experience with all aspects of real estate management and investment. He is passionate about real estate and focused on building long-term relationships with clients, both property owners and tenants, through consistent high-quality service and property value maximization. Gary has a BCom, in Finance and Accounting, as well as a BCL and LLB, civil and common law degrees, all from McGill University.

Paul R. Jussaume,
Chief Operating Officer

Paul R. Jussaume, a well-respected real estate leader, joined Magil Laurentian in 2010 as Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Magil Laurentian’s business including the sourcing and securing of new management opportunities.  Paul has over 20 years of experience with every aspect of commercial property and asset management. Paul has a Bachelors of Commerce degree (Major Finance) from Concordia University and is a Chartered Real Estate broker.

  Richard Poirier
Senior Vice-President, Leasing

Richard joined Magil Laurentian in 2000. He has over 20 years of experience with all aspects of office and commercial leasing. Richard is well respected in the industry and has impressive relationships with brokers, property owners and tenants. Richard has access to extensive market information and excellent tenant prospects. Richard has a BA degree in Urban Studies, from Concordia University.

André Parent 
Vice-President of Operations,

André joined Magil Laurentian in 1998. André has over 30 years of experience with all aspects of property management in the Quebec City region. André has forged strong links with real estate owners, professional firms and tenants alike. André has a degree in Administration, with a concentration in real estate appraisal, from Laval University and is a Chartered Administrator.

Robert Uditsky, CA
Senior Director, Accounting and Administration

Robert Uditsky joined Weloga Corporation, the parent company of Magil Laurentian, in 2002 as controller. In 2006, Robert was promoted to Director of Finance. During his time at Weloga Corporation he gained experience in the areas of acquisitions, development, finance and asset management. Robert was appointed Senior Director, Accounting and Administration of Magil Laurentian in 2010 and oversees the accounting and legal departments in addition to being responsible for taxation, treasury management, information technology and administration. Robert has over 15 years of financial accounting and audit experience having worked in industry and for a national accounting firm. He is a results-oriented leader, with strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills. Robert has a BCom in Accounting and Entrepreneurship from McGill University, a diploma in Chartered Accountancy from Concordia University and is a member of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Quebec.

Lise Lefebvre, CHRP
Human Resources Manager

Lise joined Magil Laurentian in 2007 as Director of Human Resources. She has over 20 years of management experience during which she developed an expertise and a passion for the strategic management of human resources. Lise is responsible for ensuring that Magil Laurentian meets its objective of maintaining a highly qualified, engaged and dynamic workforce. Lise has certificates in human resources management and business management.

 Janet Mackenzie
Director, Property Management – Ontario Region

 Janet joined Magil Laurentian in 2010 as a Senior Property Manager bringing with her 28 years of experience in the Toronto and London Real Estate market, managing Office buildings as well as Retail, Medical and Industrial properties. Her strong customer service orientation and innovative solutions allowed her to receive BOMA’s accreditation of “Certificate of Excellence and Building of the Year” Award, in the Office Building Category. Janet is responsible for the Ontario portfolio and is an active BOMA member.

 Stéphane Alarie
Director, Operations – Montreal Region

 Stéphane Alarie is Director, Operations for the Montreal Region since 2010, having gained a broad experience starting in 2000 as Construction Manager and subsequently Property Manager in 2004 of our landmark property, Place Victoria. Throughout his career, he has developed a reputation for developing and delivering high-quality, pro-active service to our tenants and clients by engaging and leading his team to meet and exceed client expectations. Stephane also contributes in Magil-Laurentian’s business development initiatives. He has a Bachelors in Engineering with a Masters in Construction management and is a Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) and CBDCA (Conseil du bâtiment durable du Canada).
